I recently stayed for two nights on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent value. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which enhanced my experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with amenities like a kettle and fridge. I enjoyed the half-board option, featuring a superb menu; the lamb rump was especially good! Breakfast was fresh and hot, although a tad late. The grounds looked inviting, and I wish I had more time to explore them.
Do recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at the Pinewood Hotel with my 9-year-old son was quite mixed. While the room had potential, it fell short of expectations and cleanliness. we enjoyed the beautiful sun terrace and garden area, perfect for relaxing after our explorations nearby. Visiting attractions like Black Park and the Emma Sallis Adventure Playground enhanced our family bonding, making for nice moments despite the hotel's shortcomings.

Everything is great, I appreciated it. The rooms are airy, with lovely views, and the location is easy in beautiful sprawling gardens which the children could explore freely. The property offers great prices.

The management needs to improve drink service during busy times, as my party waited too long for drinks. The reception staff were very helpful, resolving TV issues promptly.

Loved the 'grand' hotel toilets! They were amazing! Snake/lizzard tiled basins...Never seen any toilets like that in my life. The hotel was lovely and clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Quite relaxed and friendly. Would recommend.
The hotel location was alittle far out of town, which we weren't expecting and we probably won't have found it if we didn't have a sat nav. It was very secluded but grounds were lovely and staff were very plesant and friendly.Would have been nice to have a pool!

great for parks and discovering local landmarks within walking distance
It was just a short walk to beautiful Langley Park and the vast Black Park Country Park where I spent my afternoon walking the trails, enjoying the natural scenery, and just unwinding . The staff were really friendly and helpful were great, but the hotel could improve on its older rooms, as some could use a bit of an update to match the lovely surroundings.

The kindness of the staff, the food (breakfast and dinner), garden, location.
View from the rooms to ventilation ducts! The whole hotel is outdated and in need of renovation!

Not a good trip, would not stay their again
We arrived on Wednesday 15th June at mid day, staying for one night and departed at 11.00am on the Thursday morning. The level of service was poor in the restaurant, we had a table booked for 8.00pm, we arrived in the restaurant on time approached a young waitress, told her of our booking, however she didn't seem to understand what we were saying and wandered off. A waiter who was dealing with another table spotted what was happening came over and dealt with the issue. The choice on your menu is limited and very expensive for what it was, there are some things that just don't go together - chicken and butterscotch ? Breakfast was no improvement we were both hoping for better things however we were again disappointed especially as there were only about 12 to 14 in the dining room at the time. We were both served with food that had been sitting around for some time. The beans and mushrooms had dried out, the bacon was stuck together as the fat had congealed between the rashers. The sausages were only cooked on one side, the other side was white and just off raw, so inedible. the fried egg was under cooked so a replacement was requested, which, we never received. We asked for some brown sauce which also never arrived. We commented to the waiter that it was the worst breakfast we have ever had but he didn't seem that interested. A waitress tried to pour coffee into a cup that I had previously had had tea in, we had to stop her and ask for a clean cup. Frankly it was farcical.
